Bender Consulting was founded in 1972 by Rolf Bender. It was devised as an instrument for the realization of his ideas. The company name is to say that Bender Consulting is an organisation to carry through an idea all the way from DEsign to PROduction.
To meet this standard, an infrastructure was set up and a team of experts, permanent and free lance, was put together. This made largely self-sufficient operation and unbiased consultation possible. For the technical aspects, this resulted in the setting up of workshops equipped with special machines like swage installation and extruder to facilitate the production of models, samples and pilot runs on the premises. Furthermore, an extensive archive was created to make the uses of different products and presentations accessible at any given time. This archive is used for research and for the illustration of possibilities.
Our first 10 years were marked by display and packaging, mainly for the cosmetics-, confectionery- and tobacco industry. We also designed accessories for car manufacturers.
